So, one of common elements I saw when reading on switching to more natural living was the use of essential oils. It can be a little daunting at first but once you get used to it you’ll feel so much better about the health of your home.
After doing some research on the quality and price of different essential oil brands I settled on Plant Therapy. Please do your own research and find a brand that suits you. I couldn’t afford the top of the line essential oils, but I believe that the quality of Plant Therapy is outstanding.
I use essential oils in roller bottles as perfume. My favorites are citrus cents such as sweet orange. Be sure to start with a low dilution rate such as 5-10 drops to make sure you don’t have any sensitivities to oils.
I also use those roller bottles to make an icy hot type of alternative for Larry using Plant Therapy’s Pain Aid. Again, we started with a low dilution rate to see what ratio would actually give him relief. Everyone is different, so it’s trail and error until you find what’s right for you.
If you are worried about the price of the oils, keep in mind that one bottle of essential oils will last you a long time. You will be able to use that same bottle for many, many different applications.
